Yes, our Bethpage High-Yield Savings Premium Account is federally insured by the NCUA. For information about how your accounts are insured through the NCUA, visit www.ncua.gov.

Dividends accrue daily and are compounded and credited on a monthly basis.

The Bethpage High-Yield Savings Premium Account has a $10 monthly maintenance service charge. However, this fee is waived with an average daily balance for the month of $1,000 or more.

You must be a consumer member of Bethpage Federal Credit Union and at least 18 years old to open a High-Yield Savings Premium Account.

A Bethpage High-Yield Savings Premium Account is a savings account that earns dividends which are subject to change after account opening and allows you to access your money at any time. A Bethpage Certificate account is an account that earns a fixed dividend rate for a specific term. Once the Certificate reaches maturity you can increase or decrease the balance — or even withdraw it. However, there is a penalty for early withdrawal.
