Student Financial Aid and Paying for College

This session will provide an overview of how the student financial aid system works including the federal, New York State, college and private programs that are available to help families pay for college. In addition, we will discuss the FAFSA, New York State TAP and CSS Profile applications that need to be completed for need-based aid consideration. This session will be presented by Maria Rodriguez from the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), New York State’s higher education student financial aid agency.
